Madison nightclub security guard knocked unconscious- man arrested
Madison WI Sept 26 2017 A bouncer at a Downtown piano bar was knocked unconscious Friday night allegedly by a man who had just been escorted out of the establishment for causing a ruckus.
Travis Haanstad, 21, of Madison, was taken into custody on tentative charges of substantial battery and disorderly conduct, Madison police said.
The incident happened at about 11:45 p.m. Friday at the Ivory Room Piano Bar, 111 State Street.
The 43-year-old bouncer was treated at a local hospital.
