You’re Invited! Join Our “Virtual Round-Table”

Private Officer International invites you to join the “Virtual Round-Table” moderated discussions on Race, Equality and Justified Use of Force.
This will be a three-part discussion over the next several months.
This discussion will include topics for the uniform security services, retail mall security and loss prevention, private/special police and other public safety and law enforcement personnel.
Among the topics that we will address are:
Homelessness and Mental Health, Contact and Compliance, Preconceived Opinions/Biases and Misconceptions, Understanding What Leads to Escalation and Steps For True De-Escalation, Communications and Hot Button Words and Phrases, and other topics offered for discussion by our guests.
Our peer to peer discussions will allow for security and law enforcement professionals to
not only openly discuss the issues but it will also become a starting point to create new guidelines to be used by officers nationwide.
Please, make every effort to be part of this roundtable. All discussions are open to members of POI and non-members of the association.
