Comic book shoplifter jumps through window to escape security officers
Manhattan NY Oct 11 2017 It seemed like a normal business day at the popular Times Square comic shop until security officers observed a man stealing one of their comic books.
Security officers say that as they were trying to detain the shoplifter, he ran from them and jumped out of a second-floor window of the book store.
Police responded and along with security were able to grab the 24-year-old who been trying to steal the comic book at Midtown Comics on 40th Street and 7th Avenue.
The man was taken into custody and was taken to Bellevue Hospital with minor injuries.
