Person shot to death during birthday party inside Las Vegas hotel room
Las Vegas NV Dec 21 2020 A man was fatally shot during a birthday party Friday night inside a hotel room at a Las Vegas resort, according to Metro Police.
Gunfire was reported around 10 p.m. at the STRAT, 2000 Las Vegas Blvd. South, Lt. Ray Spencer said.
Detectives established early in the investigation that the shooter and victim likely knew each other, Spencer said. No arrests have been announced.
Some attendees of the party fled the room at the sound of gunshots, Spencer said.
