Mall security officer surprises man with autism, with a private ride on the carousel
Ontario County, N.Y. Dec 24 2020— Tuesday’s bright spot shines on Eastview mall security guard Scott Woodruff.
You see, he knows how much Trey, who has autism, enjoys riding the carousel at the mall.
He has done so four or five times a week for about 18 years.
The ride has been shut down during the pandemic and Trey has missed his favorite spots, riding in the chariot or the tea cups.
With special permission, Scott invited Trey and his family to the mall at closing time on Monday for a surprise ride to lift his holiday spirits.
