Off-duty NYPD school safety agent charged with assault after fight
Brooklyn NY March 7 2021 An NYPD school safety agent was arrested and charged with assault after she got into a fight late Wednesday, the department said Thursday.
Janice Johnson, 29, was arrested in Brooklyn’s 63rd Precinct, which includes Flatlands and Marine Park, around 10:50 p.m. on Wednesday, police said.
Johnson got into a dispute with another person prior to her arrest, the NYPD said, without providing additional details.
She was off-duty when she was arrested, the department noted. Her attorney information wasn’t immediately available Thursday.
