Armored truck driver robbed at gunpoint at Port Charlotte Walmart
Charlotte County FL March 12 2021 The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office is looking for two people who held a Brink’s driver at gunpoint Monday afternoon.
It happened at the Walmart Neighborhood Market at 2150 Tamiami Trail at about 12:15 p.m.
The suspects, who were wearing face coverings, and orange and lime colored high visibility vests ran from the scene and deputies spent the afternoon searching the area with K-9s and aviation.
Deputies say they believe the two suspects are men.
