Medical center employee, security guard get into shoot-out with each other

It was a highly unusual outburst of violence at a business that’s part of one of the most prestigious names in Memphis medicine.
Two people have been shot at a clinic in the Medical District during an argument between a security guard and an employee.
According to preliminary information from Memphis Police, a security guard and an employee at Campbell Clinic on South Pauline got into an altercation Thursday afternoon.
Both were armed, and they started shooting at each other.
The employee and a bystander were shot. Both are believed to be in non-critical condition at the Regional Medical Center.
The employee, who is 42, was shot in the leg. A preliminary report from police says the other person was shot in the chest.
Police are still investigating.
