A security officer chasing a man who ran onto the field during the Padres-Rockies game
was injured and had to be treated by emergency medical personnel.
This is just absolutely horrific tweeted a spectator.
The game was stopped and a security guard could be seen on the ground in pain after hurting himself trying to catch a fan out on the field.
One report stated that the security officer had broken his ankle.
While security was distracted, a second runner appeared on the field and was taken into custody.
