Orlando security officer detains shooting suspect
ORLANDO, Fla. Nov 5 2017– A security officer patrolling an apartment complex responded to a shooting and found that a 26-year-old victim was injured Friday afternoon.
Sheriff deputies say rhat he had been shot at while riding a dirt bike at an apartment complex.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said that the security officer was able to detain Julio Oquendo, 23, who shot at the victim from a vehicle at the Hidden Creek Villas Apartments on Rivertree Circle at 11:30 a.m.
The victim was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center for injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening.
No other details were available but the incident is under investigation.
