Three Stars Restaurant Had Unlicensed Security Guard
HUNTINGTON STATION, NY Sept 21 2021 — The Three Stars Restaurant on Hills Road in Huntington Station had an unlicensed security guard working there, the Suffolk County Police Department said in a news release Sunday.
Police arrested two men, the restaurant owner and security guard, as part of a New York State Liquor Authority inspection held at the restaurant located at 118 W. Hills Road Saturday night.
Authorities said the inspection was in response to “numerous community complaints.” Three Stars’ location is at the intersection of two streets lined with homes.
Arrested were the owner Henry Contreras, 36, of Huntington Station and security guard Steven Ulloa, 22, of East Patchogue.
They were charged with unlicensed security guard, a New York State general business law and unclassified misdemeanor, police said. The duo will be arraigned another time, the news release states.
The restaurant also received four violations from the New York State Liquor Authority.
The owner received an additional building violation from the town of Huntington.
