Senior Las Vegas pastor charged with multiple casino robberies
Las Vegas NV Nov 11 2017
Las Vegas police say a local pastor tested his luck one too many times at an off-Strip casino, according to a report from ktnv.com.
Late last month, police arrested Gregory Bolusan at Penn National Gaming’s M Resort casino for attempting to rob the property of about $33,000. Police say he brandished a phony gun when he demanded the cash from the casino’s cashiers cage.
Remarkably, the incident was Bolusan’s third attempted robbery of the casino in just the last three months, according to police. The first occurred in late August.
The first incident was unsuccessful for Bolusan because the cage employee didn’t cooperate and he fled the scene. I
n September, he again appeared armed when demanding cash from the cage, but this time he made off with about $30,000. However, police noticed that he used the same clothing and drove the same car in both incidents.
In the alleged Oct. 28 attempted heist, Bolusan again made little effort to differentiate himself from the previous times. Per a report from wxyz.com, he parked his car in the exact same spot as the other two incidents and entered the exact same doors of the casino as before.
This time casino security staff were waiting for him, and police later showed up to take him into custody. Bolusan was charged with burglary, attempted robbery and robbery.
Bolusan reportedly is a senior pastor at Grace Bible Church Las Vegas.
