While holding the door where she could not leave the room, he reportedly asked if she was really 18, and offered to give her the room for free if she just “laid down on the bed” and was “mature about it”. She was able to escape and called 911 from the lobby.

On 08/07/2021, for the victim’s 18th birthday she and 6 other friends rented a hotel room at GLO Hotel in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee. At one point, the victim and 2 other friends went to the lobby to wait for the victim’s sister to arrive. The victim’s friends were arguing, and the defendant who works the front desk engaged the victim in conversation.
The defendant asked if the victim was okay and noted she was with a lot of other girls. The victim told the defendant that her friends were not getting along, and the defendant subsequently suggested that the victim get an additional room for her friends that were fighting. The victim agreed that it was a good idea but inquired about pricing, as she did not have a lot of money.
The defendant asked what her price range was to which the defendant responded he could get her another room for about $130.00. The defendant then told her two friends to go back to their room so he could show the victim the additional room. The defendant took the victim to the third floor and into a room. The defendant closed the door but remained by the door and held the door handle.
The defendant then began asking how much time he had before the victim’s sister arrived, and if she was shy. He also began asking her if she was really 18 and if she was going to be mature. At that point, the victim stated she then realized this wasn’t about the room anymore and began texting her friends, “help me”. The defendant told the victim that the room could be free if she just laid down on the bed and was mature.
During this interaction, the victim states the defendant took a step towards her. The defendant continued to try and convince the victim to just lay down on the bed. She then lied to the defendant in an attempt to exit the room and told him that her sister was downstairs, and she needed to go.The victim then packed her belongings and confronted the defendant in the lobby where she phoned 911.
