TURLOCK, Calif. Nov 8 2021
At about 11:27 am Tuesday morning, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported weapons offense at Turlock Memorial Park, 575 North Soderquist Road, Turlock.
When officers arrived on scene, they located a security officer who had placed the suspect, later identified as Alfredo Valencia, 26, of Modesto, under arrest after he had threatened him with pepper spray.
Prior to officers’ arrival, they were already aware of several incidents involving a suspect who had committed a robbery and several other crimes involving pepper spraying victims at local grocery stores over the past several weeks.
