12 Security Officers Die From Coronavirus in 3 Weeks

During the past twenty days, we have lost twelve security officers who have
succumbed to complications of the Coronavirus.
Private Officer International has confirmed that all were actively employed as security officers working in current assignments.
There were eight other reports of security officer deaths from COVID19 that we could not verify and are not included in these totals.
It continues to be very difficult to accurately obtain information of private security officer deaths but our office continues to work diligently each day to secure this information.
Among those who have passed away are:
Chad Christiansen, 49 Camp Douglas Wisconsin. He was employed as a civilian security officer at Volk Field.
Chester D. Hollingsworth 67, Orlando Florida.
Gary Branam, 47, Â Cincinnati Ohio. He was employed as an Operations Chief
at SafePro Services Security.
Brian Wallace Washington DC. He was a special police officer.
Andy Sullivan, 61 was an employee of Securitas Security.
Julie Fullerton 70 was a security officer in Orlando Florida.

Beginning in early 2020, due to the requirements of their job, thousands of law enforcement and private security officers and other first responders throughout the United States contracted COVID-19 during the worldwide pandemic. Hundreds of officers have died from medical complications as a result of contracting the virus while remaining on duty and interacting with the community.
