San Marcos bouncer arrested after man dies days after argument
San Marcos TX December 24 2021 Security guard San Marcos, who was involved in the debate that resulted in the death of a 24-year-old man, was arrested.
The Hays County Sheriff’s Office arrested Milton Hayriger, 25, for manslaughter after the San Marcos police station investigated the deadly assault of 24-year-old Emmet Washam from Lagrange.
According to officials, SMPD asked the Red Room Social Lounge — 106 W. Hopkins St. — to report the assault at around 2:37 am on Sunday, December 12, and was unconscious on the road outside the facility on arrival. I found that it was. ..
Police said the investigation resulted in Warsham being denied entry to the Red Room Social Lounge, causing controversy between Warshman and Bar’s bouncer Hayriger.
Heiliger beat Warsham many times during the debate, causing him to fall off an elevated sidewalk and injured his head, officials said.
Washam was transferred to Kyle’s Ascension Seaton Hayes Hospital.
He later died of an injury on December 19th.
After the incident, Heiliger was arrested and charged with exacerbated assault that caused serious physical injury and was later released on public debt.
After Washam’s death, a manslaughter warrant was issued and he was arrested.
Hayriger is currently in Hayes County Jail at the time of publication. No bond has been set.
