Providence Mall security quickly detain two combatants

Mall security quickly put n end to a fight before others got in involved.
At least two individuals were detained following the incident at Providence Place Mall on Saturday afternoon.
Video shows mall security attempting to restrain two people fighting coming down an escalator at the mall shortly after 5 PM.
“I heard a lot of yelling and screaming on the third floor — as I was walking to go up to the third floor, they were all coming down the escalator,” witness Anthony Sionni told GoLocal.
“Somebody also threw a drink down when they were going down the escalator,” he added. “It was all pushing and shoving on the escalator which then led out onto the floor.”
The video also shows at least one individual assaulting mall security.
Providence police were called and at least two people have been taken into custody.
According to police, there were over 100 juveniles involved in the melee.
Multiple backup units were called in to respond to the reportedly disruptive crowd.
