Shots fired, 2 arrested at Moreno Valley Mall

Mall security reported shots fired to the police at around 6 p.m. authorities said.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department and EMS responded to the Moreno Valley Mall, and security reported that someone might have been shot.
The Sheriff’s Department said that there was an argument among a group of people which escalated with one person firing a gun, the department tweeted.
Deputies recovered a firearm at the scene during their investigation, and there were no injuries reported.
Two people were taken into custody authorities said.
It was unclear whether the shooting happened inside or outside the mall, which was closed last night for the investigation.
The identities of the suspects were not immediately available, and the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department did not respond to requests for additional information.
