Alaskan contract security firm protects United States Coast Guard
Alaska June 2 2022 From Alaska to Puerto Rico, APSI continues to build upon our many successes in the 24/7/365 protection of personnel and assets of the United States Coast Guard. At almost 150 strong, our armed Security Officers are responsible for the Force Protection/Anti-Terrorism countermeasures at US Coast Guard Bases throughout the southeast US and the Caribbean (Task Order 4), and in the states of Washington and Alaska (Task Order 2).
Our Officers work in a variety of different environments and face security challenges every day. They are responsible for entry and access control, perimeter security and Base patrol, and emergency response to everything from car accidents to “gate-runners,” to shoplifters and armed individuals. We protect airfields, shoreline, residential housing, schools and childcare facilities, barracks, training and medical facilities, aircraft, maritime assets, and several USCG Exchanges.
APSI Officers have been put to the test on numerous occasions. From intoxicated drivers to disturbances of all types, all the way to armed fugitives and active shooters, our Officers have come through each and every time. We have received numerous awards from our client and have consistently received CPARS in the Exceptional range across the board. It has been our honor to serve the United States Coast Guard and look forward to many more years of service with integrity.
