Mom, two teens arrested after large fight at Ohio high school
COLUMBUS, Ohio Nov 30 2017— A 40-year-old mom, her daughter, and her goddaughter are facing charges after a lunchroom fight erupted at Linden McKinley, forcing the resource officer to use his mace.
Columbus Police say Roxanne Criane took her 17-year-old daughter and goddaughter to the high school Tuesday morning to meet with an administrator.
But officers say her daughter, Tameira Fonseca, ended up in a fight with another student. Craine reportedly encouraged her daughter to fight and helped her.
During the melee, police say a school administrator was then hit by Ka’nautika Pickens, who is Criane’s goddaughter.
The school resource officer wasn’t able to get control of the crowd and had to call for more officers to help. He then had to use his mace to arrest Craine.
Police say Criane and her daughter were charged with assault. Pickers was charge with felony assault for assaulting a school employee. Craine was taken to jail, while the teens were released to a relative.
