Woman allegedly assaults security guards as they attempt to detain her at Peterborough business

A 30-year-old Otonabee-South Monaghan woman is facing charges after an incident involving security guards on Monday evening.
Peterborough Police say at approximately 8:45 p.m. on Oct. 3, officers were called to a business in the King Street and George Street area.
Upon arrival, officers learned that a woman had allegedly physically assaulted several security guards before the guards could detain her.
Officers were able to take over custody of the woman who allegedly continued to resist arrest.
The security guards did not require medical attention at the scene, say police.
As a result of the investigation, a 30-year-old Otonabee-South Monaghan woman was arrested and charged with:

- Resist Peace Officer
