Cleveland police investigate shooting of 58 year old man by security officer

A 58-year-old man has been shot by a security officer in downtown Cleveland
according to the police.
An investigation is now underway to determine what happened and if the use of lethal force was necessary.
According to the Cleveland Division of Police, the shooting occurred in the rear of 530 Euclid Avenue by a security guard.
Following the shooting, the victim walked to 1300 Superior Avenue, where EMS officials transported him to MetroHealth Medical Center.
The victim’s condition and the motive behind the shooting are unknown at this time.
