Police search for drivers accused of shooting at each other in Ga. hospital parking lot
Floyd County GA April 10 2023Â Authorities are investigating an exchange of gunfire that took place in a hospital parking lot this week.
LaGrange police said on Wednesday at 5:05 p.m., officers received reports of shots being fired at the WellStar West Georgia Medical Center on Vernon Road.
When officers arrived, several witnesses told them shots were fired from what they believed was a gold Honda Accord towards what looked like a white Honda Civic.
After the two cars fired at each other, they left the parking lot before officers arrived.
During the investigation, officers found that one round fired during the incident hit a Nissan Pathfinder parked in a lot near the Children’s Clinic that had someone sitting inside. They were not injured.
