Police respond to cutting between customer, security guard at Fashion Square Mall
Saginaw MI May 16 2023 Police are investigating a cutting incident that occurred at Fashion Square Mall in Saginaw Township.
About 9:45 p.m. on Monday, May 15, a fight occurred in the food court of the mall at 4865 Fashion Square Blvd.
The altercation involved a customer and a security guard, during which the customer suffered at least one injury from a knife, said Saginaw Township Police Lt. Rick Herren.
None of the parties involved were taken into police custody, Herren said. The lieutenant declined to give further details.
The Saginaw County Prosecutor’s Office is to review officers’ reports and determine if criminal charges are warranted.
