McKeesport Area schools OK security guard contract

School officials have weighed in, reviewed, and now decided about how best to provide security for their schools.
At Thursday’s meeting, McKeesport Area School Board approved a contract with security guard provider Kellington Protection Service.
Last month, the board accepted the resignation of Homeland Intelligence Protective Services after one of the security company’s former guards, Alexis Brown, was accused of having a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old McKeesport student.
The new security company will start immediately.
