Texarkana police investigating Red River Federal Credit Union ATM theft
TEXARKANA, Ark. Jan 4, 2025– Police are investigating a Red River Federal Credit Union ATM theft that occurred Thursday afternoon at the intersection of Arkansas Boulevard and Jefferson Avenue.
A Loomis security employee was working on an ATM shortly after 2 p.m. when three men reportedly took money from the ATM.
One suspect stayed in the car while the other two took the money, according to police.
The suspects then fled the scene in a vehicle.
No one was injured during the incident.
The theft was the second time an ATM has been robbed in Texarkana in less than a month.
On Dec. 6, 2024, suspects stole a money cassette from an exposed ATM while a Loomis cash handler was inside his armored truck at TEXAR Credit Union ATM at Summerhill and West 40th streets.
