WOMAN KILLED AFTER ATTEMPTING TO RUN OVER SECURITY GUARD
SAN ANTONIO TX Feb 6 2018 – A woman has died after she was shot by a security guard she was trying to run over early Monday morning.
San Antonio police said the incident began as a fight broke out in the parking lot of Bar 23 at Walzem Road and Austin Highway. A woman, in her 40’s, drove her vehicle at a security guard who fired several shots after commanding her to stop.
The woman was hit in the neck and transported to University Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Witnesses are being interviewed by detectives.
A second shooting took place, according to police, after a vehicle took off from the first shooting. A man in his 20’s and a female passenger were sitting in a car at the Chevron on Perrin Beitel when a shot rang out.
A bullet struck the driver’s side window and grazed the head of the driver. The victim was transported to University Hospital in stable condition.
