Riverside High School student arrested after injuring teacher, security officer during fight

A Riverside High School student was arrested this week after a teacher and a security officer were injured breaking up a fight between students, according to a Buffalo police report.
The 16-year-old student was involved in a fight with another student in the school cafeteria on Monday morning when she allegedly elbowed a teacher in the arm and elbowed a security officer in the face, according to the report.
The student, whose name is being withheld by The Buffalo News due to her age, was charged with third-degree assault, a misdemeanor, and two counts of second-degree harassment, a violation.
