Richwood Correctional Officer arrested after drugs were found

A man who worked as a corrections officer at the Richwood Correctional Facility has been arrested.
41-year old Tyre Manning was found with contraband during a routine shakedown
Reports say shakedowns are done before and after every shift prior to entering and exiting the inmate housing area.
Manning had two bags of marijuana concealed in a potato chip bag, a cell phone, and half an ounce of tobacco in his possession.
He was transported to the Ouachita Correctional Center on Saturday, March 11th.
No bond has been set.
