Second man charged in Terrebonne Parish casino robbery

A 29-year-old Thibodaux man was arrested in Texas late last month in connection to the June 27 armed robbery of the Jubilee Casino in Schriever, authorities said.
Derrius Leray McDuffy, of 1300 Ridgefield Ave., was transported Thursday from Denton, Texas, to the Terrebonne Parish jail in Ashland, the Terrebonne Sheriff’s Office said.
Shortly before 1:40 a.m. on June 27, 2017, a pair of masked suspects entered the Jubilee Casino at 305 La. 20 in Schriever, struck a security guard on the back of his head and stole an undetermined amount of cash, authorities said.
A previous robbery suspect, identified as Antoine Baptiste Jr., 42, of 193 Bon Jovi Blvd., Gray, arrested on Feb. 26, the Sheriff’s Office said. Baptiste remains jailed on a $150,000 bond.
McDuffy was charged with armed robbery and remains jailed also on a $150,000 bond.
