Off-duty Georgia State Trooper Killed In Car Accident

An off-duty Georgia State Patrol Trooper died in a wreck Monday evening in Crisp County.
According to a Facebook post from Crisp County Sheriff Billy Hancock, Trooper Tyler Parker lost control of his vehicle and struck a tree due to the intense rain. Parker was killed in the wreck.
Sheriff Hancock went on to say that Parker’s daughter, Savannah, was also in the vehicle at the time of the wreck and suffered serious injuries.
No other information on the accident was released.
