Shoplifter injures two Oklahoma police officers trying to flee
Owasso OK May 25 2017 The Owasso, Okla., police department released the body cam video showing two of their officers being injured while attempting to arrest a shoplifting suspect, according to The Tulsa World.
Bailey Michelle Cargile, 26, of Independence, Kan., allegedly hit one officer with an SUV and injured another while attempting to flee. She was being sought in connection with a shoplifting incident at a nearby Dollar General store.
Both officers were transported to a Tulsa hospital in serious condition but were released the next morning.
Cargile was arrested on charges of aggravated assault and battery on a police officer, reckless driving, resisting arrest, two counts of false impersonation, DUI, and being a fugitive from Kansas, according to media reports.
She is being held without bond.
