Hotel bouncer booked into jail for allegedly raping patron
Salt Lake UT April 9 2018Â Gregory I. Tambone 31, was booked into Salt Lake County Jail on Friday for allegedly raping a hotel patron where he worked as a bouncer.
According to the probable cause statement, Tambone met a woman in July 2015 at the hotel bar where he worked and they exchanged phone numbers with the agreement to stay in touch.
Approximately a month later, Tambone and the woman met again at the hotel bar where he worked and he offered her a private tour of the building before she left for the night.
Tambone is accused of escorting the woman to the upper level of the hotel and then removing her clothing and forcing her to engage in sexual intercourse.
The victim said in court documents that she told Tambone “no” and “stop” multiple times, but he didn’t listen and continued to force himself onto her.
Tambone is being held on $75,000 bail for first-degree felony rape.
