Barstow woman wanted for armored car robberies in Las Vegas arrested
BARSTOW CA May 17 2018 — Police assisted federal agents to place a 30-year-old Barstow woman wanted on a robbery warrant behind bars last week.
Barstow Police Department officials said they arrested Shantae Williams, wanted in connection to armored car robberies, early on May 11 after receiving a request from the FBI Victorville field office.
Federal agents issued a warrant for Williams’ arrest on May 8 after she was linked to three armored car robberies which occurred in Las Vegas between October and November 2017, police said. Further details on those incidents weren’t provided.
“Federal agents provided intelligence related to William’s residence, vehicles and schedule,” police stated.
Williams was pulled over at approximately 8:09 a.m that morning, where officers took her into custody once her identity was confirmed. Federal agents then took over custody, police said.
