Henderson County deputies arrest security guard at game-room
HENDERSON COUNTY, TX June 9 2018
Deputies with the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office have arrested two more people in connection with a Malakoff-area game room bust in late May.
Mickey Joe Stubblefield, 66, and Linda Kay Stubblefield, 56, both of Gun Barrel City, are each charged with engaging in organized criminal activity. Both were arrested on the charge on Tuesday and they each posted $10,000 bonds the same day.
Deputies raided the Hanger game room on May 22 and arrested Pamala Price, the owner of the business, and Steven Gadd, an attendant, during the raid, according to an arrest affidavit.
The affidavit states Mickey Stubblefield was identified as a security guard and Linda Stubblefield an attendant.
The raid on the business was a result of an ongoing investigation into illegal gaming.
The latest arrests are the 33rd and 34th game room related arrests since the sheriff’s office began cracking down on the activity in October.
The affidavit states Malcom Jones worked at the business during the weekend. Sheriff Botie Hillhouse said his office has a warrant for his arrest, but they have yet to be able to find Jones.
