Woman bit security guard, kicked officer in the groin
Guam July 17 2018 A woman was arrested and accused of drunkenly assaulting two police officers and bar security on Sunday night.
A Superior Court of Guam magistrate complaint states that Morgan Hale, 28, also known as Morgan Hill, was charged with two counts of third-degree felony assault on a peace officer, one count of misdemeanor assault, resisting arrest and public drunkenness.
The incident occurred at Jimmy Dee’s Paradise Beach Resort-Bar after police were called because Hale allegedly was being loud, combative and wouldn’t leave with her friends. When Guam Police Department officers arrived, they allegedly saw Hale actively assaulting the bar’s security guard, who was bitten on the chest and grabbed by Hale around his neck.
As GPD tried to remove the woman, she allegedly wrapped her legs around the security guard and wouldn’t let go. When she finally released and was speaking to police, she allegedly stood up and kicked one officer in the groin area twice and another officer in the left leg.
She allegedly was led away screaming obscenities and, while awaiting transport, vomited inside the GPD police cruiser.
The magistrate’s complaint further stated that before the incident occurred, Hale had locked herself inside the bar’s bathroom for 45 minutes and had attempted to attack another bar patron but was stopped by her friends. Hale allegedly jumped on the security guard’s back as he was walking away.
