Nashville security detains aggravated assault suspect privateofficer.org
NASHVILLE, Tenn. July 18 2018 — Metro Police responded to Club Premium on Murfreesboro Pike on Saturday in regards to a stabbing.
Upon arrival, police say a security guard detained the suspect, identified as Andrea Kinzer, in the back of their patrol car.
According to a Metro Police affidavit, the security guard stated that she was told Kinzer was fighting people and cut some with a knife Kinzer gave the security guard a knife that she had on her, which was then given to police and turned into property and evidence.
After talking to officers, one of the victims stated that she and Kinzer were dancing in the club when they began to fight, then Kinzer pulled a knife from her purse, waived it around, than charged at the victim with it. The victim was cut in under her eye.
Another victim reportedly saw the fight, tried to break it up, and was cut in the shoulder.
Kinzer was taken into custody and stated that her name was Kerry Couch, which revealed to be false, according to DCSO. Officers also say Kinzer was heavily intoxicated during the incident.
Kinzer is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
