Alabama man bites Panama City Beach security officer in the face
PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. April 12 2018 A disturbance at a beach resort left one man injured and another under arrest.
Police report that an Alabama man was creating a disturbance at a resort on Front Beach Road.
Security officers confronted the man when he began to argue and became aggressive.
Panama City Beach Police responded to a call at the resort Sunday night after they say Alan Higgins, Jr., 37, was arguing with a security officer when another security officer tried to step in and help.
They say Higgins began yelling profanities and hit one of the officers in the face. While the security officers tried to restrain Higgings, they say he also bit the victim on the face.
Higgins is charged with assault and battery on a security officer and disorderly conduct.
