ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. January 18, 2024
Aaron Jones is a native New Mexican and president of his nationwide company, International Protective Services.
A criminal complaint says Jones was arrested Friday at the Popeyes on San Mateo Boulevard after he pointed a handgun at a man in the parking lot.
Court records said the man had made vulgar comments to Jones’ daughter which is when Jones pulled a gun to confront him.
The IPS CEO had his hearing earlier Saturday and was told his case will be heard in district court.
He has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and tampering with evidence. IPS does contract work across Albuquerque, working with many retail stores and private companies.
