Albuquerque security guard charged with child abuse for driving over 100 MPH with child in car
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. Nov 3 2017 — A security officer is accused of child abuse after New Mexico State Police say they found him driving drunk more than 100 miles per hour.
NMSP says officers spotted Heath Mora driving erratically on I–25 late Sunday night. They found three children in the car, along with a loaded gun.
This isn’t the first time Mora has been in trouble with the law either. In January, Albuquerque police arrested him after they said he shot a man with a mace gun while on duty as a hotel security guard.
In September 2015, also while on duty as a hotel security guard, he was arrested for aggravated battery when a woman accused him of spraying her and her cat with pepper spray.
Then in June 2015, Mora was arrested another time for battery after Albuquerque police say he punched a man off his scooter.
