Alert security officer at MN storage facility leads police to arrest wanted person
Olmsted County MN April 9 2020
On Monday night, the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office responded to a storage facility in Cascade Township for a suspicious call.
A security officer for the facility heard a sound and found 42-year-old Shannon Deheve coming out of a storage unit that was supposed to be empty. The security guard also noticed the unit was filled with items. Officials believe the items inside had been stolen from areas including cases in Rochester.
Officials later saw Deheve walking southbound on North Broadway Ave and Deheve was identified after she gave a false name. Officials then learned she had two active warrants out of Olmsted County.
The warrants were for a gross misdemeanor failure to appear on a theft case issued in August 2019, third degree controlled substance crime issued in October 2019, and also had a failure to appear felony warrant for a fifth degree controlled substance.
Deheve is expected in court this Wednesday on the warrants and could be facing felony possession of stolen property.
