Allentown man charged with selling meth on Wind Creek casino
Bethlehem PA Aug 29 2021 A 49-year-old Allentown man was charged with selling meth on Wednesday on the Wind Creek Casino property in Bethlehem, city police report.
In a transaction near the entrance to the outlets as police and casino security personnel watched, Jamal Vincent Green, of the 500 block of North Law Street, handed off a small item in torn plastic about 1 p.m. to a man, who was known to investigators, in exchange for cash, court papers say.
The man soon gave the item to waiting police, who said it field tested as meth, court papers say.
Green was taken into custody and police learned he was carrying 21 grams of meth, worth more than $500 on the street, and eight grams of cocaine, with a street value of more than $500, court papers say. Samples of each field tested positive, police said. Green was also carrying a vile containing marijuana and a grinder that had marijuana residue, police said.
Green was arraigned before District Judge Alicia Rose Zito on three felony counts of possession with intent to deliver drugs and one misdemeanor count of possession of a small amount of marijuana, court papers say.
Green was housed in lieu of $100,000 bail pending a preliminary hearing tentatively scheduled 9 a.m. Sept. 9.
Court papers did not show an attorney for Green.
