Alton teen charged with kicking school security guard
Edwardsville IL March 6 2023 An Alton teen was charged after allegedly kicking an Alton School District security officer in the head Feb. 15.
Disney Alexander, 18, was charged March 3 with aggravated battery, a Class 2 felony. The case was presented by the Madison County Sheriff’s Department.
According to court documents, on Feb. 15 Alexander allegedly kicked an Alton School District security guard in the head. Bail was set at $25,000.
In an unrelated case, Devaun D. Clay, 25, of Pontoon Beach, was charged with harassment by telephone, a Class 4 felony.
The case was presented by the Granite City Police Department.
According to court documents, between Sept. 22 and Sept. 26, 2022, Clay allegedly called a victim more than 53 times and left voice mails, including at least one in which he “included statements threatening to kill employees” at a local business by shooting them.
Bail was set at $25,000.
