Armed man found sleeping in bathroom at Illinois College

A homeless man looking for a place to sleep is facing several firearms-related charges.
Marcus D. Johnson, 22, who is homeless, was arrested after Illinois College security officers said he was found trying to sleep in a bathroom in one of the college’s buildings.
Police said Johnson said he was a former student, but college officials can find no record he attended IC.
Jacksonville police said he had been there about an hour and had a firearm concealed in a backpack.
Police said it appears Johnson had no intention of harming anyone, and was aware there were no students on campus because of winter break.
He was arrested on charges of unlawful use of a weapon, unlawful use of a weapon in a school, unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition, and having no valid Firearm Owners Identification card.
