Armed men threaten Houston hotels security officer during ATM robbery
Houston TX July 2 2018 Two men stole an ATM from a southwest Houston hotel Tuesday morning after threatening a security guard with handguns, police said.
The men, wearing hoodies and masks, came to the Hilton in the 6700 block of Southwest Freeway, just south of Hillcroft, around 3 a.m.
When a security officer approached them, the burglars took out handguns and told the security guard to stay out of the way, said Lt. Larry Crowson of the Houston Police Department.
They then took the ATM, put it in a silver Malibu and left the scene.
Houston police said that they still investigating this robbery.
