Armored car wreck leaves coins strewn on I-40 in Tennessee
Humphrey County TN July 17 2018 A wreck involving an armored car left coins strewn across Interstate 40 in Tennessee, police said.
The wreck occurred about 3:30 p.m. Monday near the Hurricane Mills Exit on I-40 in Humphreys County, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
The wreck involved a commercial motor vehicle and an armored vehicle transporting coins, police said.
The armored company was sending representatives to pick up the coins, according to THP.
The wreck led to restrictions on I-40 on Monday afternoon, with the westbound shoulder blocked.
