Armored truck carrying $2M catches fire on Long Island Express

Police say an armored truck caught fire on the Long Island Expressway, almost sending $2 million up in smoke.
When emergency units arrived, the truck was engulfed with fire and a lot of dark smoke filled the area.
According to police, the armored truck caught fire in the westbound lanes near Exit 69 Thursday night in Manorville.
The armored truck had run over a mattress, which then caught fire.
Once the fire was controlled, police on the scene said that none of the $2 million on board was burned.
No injuries were reported either.
