Armour College Continues To Grow Through Franchising

As a unique public safety training institute offering more than six hundred courses in twenty-two areas, Armour College and Technical Institute has grown rapidly since its inception in February 2000.
What makes it even more different than a standard college or trades school is the field training unit that brings all of its courses right to the doors of businesses, schools, churches and emergency service agencies.
ACTI with campuses in seven states also continues to grow their brand through franchising and recently added new locations in Long Island and New York City, New Jersey, Annapolis Maryland, and Des Moines Iowa.
Their first two International schools are in their final stages of opening in Alberta Canada and Nairobi Kenya.
Many of their courses are also available through their e-learning platform or in a seminar format.
Their slogan, “While others teach from books, we teach from experience” certainly rings true with all of their instructors being current or retired firefighters and paramedics, law enforcement from local, state and federal agencies, security and investigative professionals, attorneys, and paralegals and employees in the areas that they are instructing in.
We’re all about putting people to work and keeping them there through compliance, education, and leadership.
In fact, in 2015, Armour began offering some of their courses to youth and inner-city programs at the YMCA, Job Corps, The Explorer Program and Youth in Action.
More growth is planned for 2019-2020 with new campuses planned for Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, and Florida.
