Atlanta area security officer rmurdered-2nd officer dies hours before
ATLANTA, GA. Two security officers have died on duty during the past forty-eight hours, both in the Metro Atlanta area.
In Acworth Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta, a security officer lost his life while coming to the aid of woman at a bar who was being assaulted.
Police said that the security officer, now identified as Jordan Alenxander Jones, 28, was shot was shot to death when he intervened.
The Acworth Police Department said the incident at the Saddle Bar on Cowan Road happened around 2:42 a.m. on Saturday, and officers arrested Daniel Di Vonne Parsons, 25, of Douglasville, accusing him of killing Jones after the security guard broke up a fight involving Parsons and a woman.
Just hours before, Private Officer International received word that a security officer had passed away in Atlanta on Friday. We were told through Facebook that the man who was elderly, passed away working security at an apartment.
