Atlanta police officer accidentally shoots himself
ATLANTA GA June 1 2019 An Atlanta police officer was shot accidentally with is own gun on Thursday.
Officers responded to the shooting at their own Sone 3 police precinct at around 2: 30 pm after a gun discharge inside the building.
A police spokesperson said that the officer accidentally shot himself in the leg.
Officials said he was transferring his gun from one holster to another when the weapon went off.
He was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital in stable condition.
